Together for tomorrow

University of Michigan Climate Week 2025 (UMCW25) invites us to come together at a defining moment for our planet — a moment to reimagine what is possible when knowledge, passion, and action unite. It will serve as a vibrant catalyst for dialogue, innovation, and collective impact, showcasing the bold, interdisciplinary climate solutions emerging from the University of Michigan, the City of Ann Arbor, and communities across Michigan.

Together, we will explore ways to stop climate change where we can, and to build resilience where we must — both at home and around the planet — to facilitate a just and sustainable future.

In this pivotal time, UMCW25 will shine a light on the extraordinary potential of collective action, demonstrating how one university, working together with its broader community, can help shape a better, more sustainable world for all.

Workers install solar panels on what appears to be a large solar array or rooftop installation. Three people are visible: two workers positioned on the dark photovoltaic panels themselves, and a third person wearing a white hard hat and plaid shirt observing from the side. The image has a stylized design treatment with geometric shapes in orange and cream tones overlaying the black-and-white photograph of the solar installation work.
